American Councils for International Education ACTR/ACCELS administes intensive language-immersion programs for U.S. students, teachers, faculty, and scholars at universities and specialized institutions in Eurasia and Southeast Europe.



Central Asian Turkic Languages Overseas Flagship Program – administered by American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS, the Central Asian Turkic Languages Overseas Flagship Program addresses the critical need for U.S. professionals to be able to speak, read, write, and understand Central Asian languages at the highest levels of functional proficiency.



Title VIII Research Scholar Program – funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Program for the Study of Eastern Europe and the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union (Title VIII), American Councils’ Research Scholar Program is an exceptional opportunity that provides full support for American graduate students, faculty, and independent scholars seeking to conduct in-country, independent research for three-to-nine months in Belarus, Central Asia, Russia, the South Caucasus, Ukraine, and Moldova.



Eurasian Regional Language Program – provides US graduate and advanced undergraduate students the unique opportunity to study virtually any of the languages of the former Soviet Union in an overseas, immersion setting.
